                           S Kojo Frimpong

It is the most beautiful time of the year
Lights flying through the streets with so much cheer
Children playing in the winter snow like angels
Under the wools of sheep
Singing hymns underneath the mistletoe
And others hiding under the brightness
Of shea butter to escape the wrath of the harmattan
From cracking our dried skins like tattoos
While playing under the Baobabs
And in the hearts of great oaks
With borne fires flaming every where
These cracks on our dark skins
And the blush on white skins
Becomes a reminder of the rainy and brighter days
That comes after Christmas
Whether black or white
It is a perfect time for all races to be one
It is a season of togetherness under one shelter
Be it a Baobab, an Oak or a Mistletoe
It is Christmas and this is it's only meaning
That we are all one people under this sun.

                                P K Addisu

The sky smiles from a mile,
Its smile is contagious.
The flavour of the wind taste different and sweet,
And it's breath feels like mint and sugar

Joy is spread in the hearts of all nature,
The time when goodness is shared among every creature.
Let's sit and have the time to enjoy its pleasure.
Its a time of the year we all treasure.

Let's breath in the air of this year for the last time.
Through the rocky roads and roaring waters,
Through the scary skies and scary thunders,
We lived like never before.

This time let's throw away our worries
And feast to tell our stories
While we wait for santa
Whether Man or God it doesn't matter.
